DISCUSSION

The fundamental objective of this research was to examine the effect of word weight on school curator performance. Most school librarians as the findings of the present survey depict undergo significant word related stress. This Cambridge Assessment International Education result reaffirms the conclusions of Wijesinghe 2012, who examined the critical level of word related tension among school library professionals. But research by Oculina 2013 Kione 2015 and Agyei 2019 discredited previous research with the discovery of higher levels of pressure related to business.

Previous studies have established that several hierarchical factors influence library experts perception of business related pressures such as administration terms the magnitude of the client area covered by the library library staff status Subject mastery, Stage-specific curriculum, Key stage transitions, Learner development stages, Structured progression, financial transparency boss believability better calls and other variables. Findings reveal that there is no difference in occupational stress between female and male librarians which corroborates research by Kaur and Actuarial 2018 and Solvi and Kaushik 2013 who established no difference in occupational stress.

Even with concurrent responsibilities at home and workplace female librarians did not differ from their male counterparts when evaluating occupational stress. This disagrees with the findings of Ogunlana 2013 who had stated that male librarians are more susceptible to job stress compared to female librarians in the same setting.

Based on data gathered there is a notable average difference between male and female librarians in their work perception. Men performed better than women in job quality ability to multitask communication skills decision making problem solving technical ability capacity to work professionally under stress and contribution to the overall development of the library. Smiths 2000 Nadine 2006 and Kaur and Katherina 2018 Conceptual understanding Personalized learning studies all reveal a robust correlation between occupational stress and library professional performance. As per Palmer 2004 stress levels over a certain limit may result in low productivity.

According to Hansen 2008 stress is required for optimal job effectiveness. In addition according to McGrath 1976 work stress can diminish organizational effectiveness by decreasing employee performance. Stressors like intrinsic poverty under involvement low status and tense peer relation were some of the factors affecting their rating of work efficiency in a negative way. From the point of occupational stress male and female librarians did not differ.

Males however performed better than females on eight work efficiency measures quality of work ability to manage more than one job communication skills deciding ability problem solving technical competence capability to work well under pressure and contribution towards the overall growth of the library. The results indicate a negative correlation between work efficiency and occupational stress but since the sample size is small the results cannot be generalized. Further research with a larger sample size is required in order to recognize the different organizational or sociocultural factors which might be affecting work efficiency.

In spite of the fact that library professionals are exposed to a high level of occupational stress the study discovered a strong negative relationship between perceived occupational stress and work efficiency. It suggests that an additional increment in occupational stress negatively affects library professionals self perception of work efficiency.

Both factors are tied to demographic concerns. We applied the t value test to determine whether there was a difference in the level of occupational stress between male and female school librarians. We learned that both male and female librarians suffer from occupational stress. We found that Learning outcome indicators married and unmarried librarians both suffer from occupational stress and that both married and unmarried librarians both negatively affect work efficiency.
